The god " Brahman" is the god of fire. He can be used for light and is very powerful.
Some of the different gods include: Sita, Maya, Balrama, Kali, Vishnu, Hanuman, Bhuvaneshwar, Ganesha, and Annapuma.
Sacred Writings The story of Mahabharata is written in a Sanskrit, which is for great story. It is also one of the great epic poems of Ancient India. They also use vedas which is the primary texts of Hinduism. Symbols Shiva Lingam is the prime symbol of worship for shaivites in stone and other forms that make the worship easier.rudrAxa is a bead from a tree. It is considered to have emanated from the eye of lord Shiva when he burnt the tripura asuras. The holy symbol by Shaivites is along with the holy ash. The Uttarayana route begns on January 14 and lasts until july 14. It falls on Jan 14 and in leap years on JAn 15. It si for the spreading of good will, peace and prosperity. People give gifts like sweets to other people and on that day have festivals. Vasant Panchami- is celebrated towards the end of winter in the month of January and Feburary, in the Northern parts of India. IT is devoted to Sarasvati, the goddess of learning. The celebrate it by having the wealth of knowledge, wearing yellow clothes, and holding feasts and organzing kite flying.
Holi- is celebrated on the onset of spring, along with good harvests and the fertility of the land.,on the day after the full moon in early March.They throw colored powder and water over eachother to celebrate the advent of spring. Then after that they bathe and clean themselves.
